What is an Endowment?
An endowment is a fund invested to provide long-term support for a particular nonprofit organization or cause in perpetuity. A portion of the fund is made available annually while the remaining assets are retained in to provide for growth over time.
GTCF manages the endowment investment and administrative details for Pierce County Library Foundation and adheres to GTCF Endowment Spending Policy.
