Create a Lasting Legacy

Imagine creating a legacy that continues to support your passion and values for the library long after you're gone.

By establishing an endowment, you can ensure your contributions make a difference for generations to come. Our endowed funds are strategically  invested with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF) to preserve their original value and generate income to reflect your support for the Library.

What is an Endowment?

An endowment is a fund invested to provide long-term support for a particular nonprofit organization or cause in perpetuity. A portion of the fund is made available annually while the remaining assets are retained in to provide for growth over time.

GTCF manages the endowment investment and administrative details for Pierce County Library Foundation and adheres to GTCF Endowment Spending Policy.
