Your participation supports outreach services at the library you love and helps bring books, programs, and resources to Pierce County residents who need them most - families facing language or transportation barriers, homebound seniors, and others who can’t make it to a library.

Grab your smartest friends and join the trivia action! Your team of up to four will share a table with another crew – but don’t worry, you’re playing against them, not with them. Bragging rights are on the line!

What are Outreach Services?

Outreach services meets people who can't get to the library where they are, connecting them with library materials and resources. These barriers can include:

Mobility or health limitations

Transportation challenges

Language barriers

Time constraints

Your donations make outreach services possible, including:

Home Delivery Programs for homebound customers

Mobile Library Visits: Library vans make stops at community centers, senior living facilities, and schools

On the Road: Summer visits to local communities, with a focus on underserved communities

Meet the Emcee

Chris Staudinger is a travel journalist, author, and tour guide who founded Pretty Gritty Tours, a tour company in the Pacific Northwest.

Staudinger has over 10 years of experience as a travel videographer and journalist for major outlets like USA Today, BBC, and Food & Wine. He is the author of Secret Tacoma and an aficionado of K-pop.
